All employees scheduled 24 or more hours per week enjoy basic benefits paid
by Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, and have the option to purchase
family coverage. Employees scheduled 16 to 23 hours per week have the opportunity
to purchase the same coverage at group rates through payroll deductions. Normally,
benefit coverage becomes effective the first day of the month after 90 days
of employment in a benefit eligible status.
Northwest Hospital & Medical Center is classified as a not-for-profit organization
under the Internal Revenue Service Code and is able to offer a 401(k) Retirement
Savings Plan with tax deferred savings opportunities. We offer a wide choice
of tax-deferred funds, with a generous employer match beginning the January
or July after six months of employment. All full time, part time, and reserve
employees are eligible to participate in the plan and may enroll at any time.
