EXERCISE & FITNESS:
Are you medically ready?

Before beginning any exercise program, make sure you have discussed your medical readiness for exercise with your doctor. In certain individuals, exercise can pose serious health risks, so it’s important to talk with your doctor about when it is safe to begin exercise and what forms of exercise are appropriate for you.

Consider reading through The Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) to help you assess your current medical status as it relates to exercise.
