At Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, we offer an outpatient Nutrition Program for our patient community. Under the direction of our dietitians and staff in the Department of Food & Nutrition, services offered through the Nutrition Program include:

• Diabetes education.
• Special diets for kidney disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, and obesity.
• Individual counseling sessions to include diet history, nutritional assessment, individualized meal plan, dietary modification strategies, written information, recipes and resources and goal setting.

Our staff will work with you to design a meal plan, based on your current eating habits and food preferences that includes necessary dietary modifications.

Fees and Insurance
Fees are charged by the hour and are comparable to other hospital nutrition clinics in the area. Check with your insurance carrier regarding coverage.
